This video has become viral. Imagine what would life be like, if India had not been able to free herself from the clutches of the British Empire? Would our life be any better than what was back in the early 1940s? It seems unlikely. We would still be treated as secondary citizens. We would have no respect in our own nation. We would still have to bow down to the British.
It is a scary thought, to be honest. It makes you glad that we were able to achieve our independence. It makes you feel indebted to the freedom fighters who sacrificed everything to ensure that we never had to see a day where a 'Indians and dogs not allowed' sign would hang at a restaurant's entrance.
This idea is explored in this short film featuring Manoj Bajpayee and Raveena Tandon.
