Earthquake Hits Afghanistan, Srinagar and Delhi too shook

Tremors were felt in northern India after an earthquake hit Afghanistan on Monday. High Tremors were felt in Srinagar and as far as New Delhi.

The tremors shook several buildings in Delhi, according to Reuters. People ran out of their buildings following the tremors.

A 5.7 magnitude earthquake hit the Afghanistan-Kazakhstan border, as per the US Geological Survey, while Indian news agencies such as ANI have reported that an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 had its epicentre in the Hindukush region of Afghanistan. 

reported that a 6.6 magnitude hit Pakistan, with tremors being felt in Islamabad and Peshawar. 

Earlier this year, the 7.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Nepal sent tremors as far as Delhi, while leaving a trail of devastation in Bihar, West Bengal and several other states in India.
