This is what Modi Government has done in the year 2015. 
Hope we get a lot more Schemes & facilities in the coming year 2016.

India strengthening bonds with neighbour countries.


Visa & Passport Services made easy.

Mann Ki Baat:
- PM Modi addressed the Nation. Mann Ki Baat, The 15th edition focused on "Start Up India".


The LED Scheme:
- The LED Scheme to lighten the villages and cities with less cost of electricity.
- 3.5 Crore number of street lights to be replaced.
- 9000 Million KWh expected annual energy savings.
- 35,000 Crore estimated capital investment.
- Annual estimated greenhouse gas emission reductions 6.2 million tonnes of CO2.

Ganga Rejuvenation:
- The Polavaram Project By River Rejuvenation Authority.
- Rejuvenation of Yamuna river.
- Timely completion of Polavaram Project.
- Development of inundation based flood forecast system.
- Setting up of North East Brahmaputra river Rejuvenation Authority.
- Ken-Betwa Link Project declared as National Project.

Integrated Ganga Conservation Programme:
- Approved funds amounting Rs. 20,000 Crore to be implemented by 2020.
- "Namami Gange" Born with Spiritual & Purity to Flow.
- "Hamara Jal Hamara Jeevan" organized in 485 districts. 

Digital India By myGov:
- Mobile as Digital Identity
- Digital Locker
- Policy on loT
- Rural Services
- Open API Policy
- Bridging the Digital Devide. 

- Total 1913 applications received.

- 50 Teams from all across the country presented ideas at IIM Ahmedabad.
- 20 Teams received Rs, 2 Lakhs each to develop prototypes in the final stage.

- Each of the Top 10 Teams to receive Rs. 5 Lakhs.
- 3 Teams to be identified in the Finals.


 - Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution.
- Ration Card Digitization in 29 states.
- Online grievance redressal  introduced in 26 states.
- Online Food Grains Allocations started in 16 states.
- Sugarcane arrears to farmers reduced from Rs. 66,003 Crore to Rs. 5406.24 Crore.


PM Modi had a surprise visit to Pakistan while returning back to India from Afghanistan.
Modi was received by Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif at the airport.
Modi was invited to the marriage party of Nawaz Sharif's grand daughter.



The surprise visit of PM Modi to Pakistan has strengthen the Indo-Pak relations.
 

PM Modi was on a 2 day visit to Moscow, Russia.
Modi met with Vladimir Putin and discussed on many ongoing international issues.

Hon'ble Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Arun Jaitley released the Calender for year 2016 in the presence of Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore (Retd.), AVSM, Hon'ble Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting.


PMO Mobile Application Contest:
- To develop a mobile application for the Prime Minister's office was launched in phases and in collaboration with Google.
- In Phase I, 9000 entries came along with 50,000 different ideas.
- 20 best ideas were selected.
- In Phase II, 119 Teams shared wireframes.
- In Phase III, 5 Teams developed Mobile App with Google. 

- The winning Teams to meet the PM and visit Google Mountain View HQ.
     


- Discussion on Health Systems in India: Bridging the Gap between Current Performance & Potentials By Niti Aayog.
- 347 Comments from citizens followed by 9 more discussions launched on MyGov.
- A total of 1,185 comments came from the 9 discussions.



Union Minister for Telecommunications and IT Shri Ravishankar Prasad launched NIC Data Centre at Bhubaneswar.


 
India's growth Story: 
Q2 of 2015-2016 grew by 7.4% against Q2 of 2014-2015.



Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution:
- Improving Food Grain Management.
- 32+ Crore Ration Cards Digitized
- 8.5+ Crore Ration Cards seeded with Aadhaar.
- 56,146 FPS automated by installing 'Point of Sale' device.

- Supply chain management in 8 States/UTs.
- Toll free Help Lines in 32 States/UTs.

- Storage capacity for central pool stocks of food grains increased to 796.08 Lakh MT.
- New godowns with capacity of 10 Lakh MT constructed in 20 States.



Electricity Generation:
- April to November 2015, Power Generation was 739.915 BU, recorded a growth by 4.55%.

- April to November 2015, Coal Based Power Generation was 561.423 BU, recorded a growth by 6.4%

 New Education Policy:

- Ministry of Human Resource & Development's New Education Policy to provide quality education, innovation and research.
- 37,000+ suggestions came online on MyGov.

- Suggestions were given by Parents, Educationalists, Field Practitioners, Industry Experts etc.
- 2,44,252 Villages, 6,620 Blocks, 4,027 Urban Local Bodies, 669 Districts, 36 States/UTs were involved.
- A total of 33 Themes identified to ensure focused deliberations.


 Indo-Africa Summit:
- Third India-Africa Forum Summit hosted in India attended by 54 Countries, 41 Heads of States.
- Lines of credit worth $10 Billion to Africa.
- Doubled the scholarships at 50,000 for Africans in coming 5 years.
- Additional grant of $600 Million.

India Attracting Investments:
- India ranked 1st in Greenfield Investment destinations in the first half of 2015.
- FDI inflows up 40% in 2015 positive sentiment for investments.

- Top FDI destination as per Foreign Policy Magazine of the US.
