5 Days Old "Aashi" The Youngest To Owe PAN Card | Guinness Book of World Records.
Will You Believe This ??
BTZPA0117K This is the Permanent Account Number (PAN) holded by a 5 year old.
A five-day-old girl Aashi from Bihar’s Munger has become the youngest Permanent Account Number (PAN) card holder in the country.
Aashi, who was born on 21st February 2016 has created a Record. She has been allotted the PAN card on 26 February 2016, just in 5 days within her birth. Aashi's father Mr. Kumar Sajal and mother Mrs. Smriti Sinha are eagerly waiting for Aashi's name to be registered in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Before Aashi, Aryan Choudhary of Jaipur held the record of youngest PAN card holder. Aryan had got his PAN card when he was seven days old.
Sajal, a businessman, said he has recommended his daughter’s name for the Guinness Book of World Records. Sajal and Smriti, who works in an HR firm in Bengaluru and is currently on leave, said their daughter has already become a local celebrity.
Ayush Ranjan Rout from Odisha was the first to become the youngest PAN card holder after he got his PAN when he was three months old. Then came Krishhney Thacker from Mumbai, whose father got him a PAN card 56 days after his birth. Chennai’s Akshita broke Thacker’s record when she was 49 days old.
It was not until a few years that Bipasha Modak of West Bengal wrested away the title from Akshita. Bipasha received her PAN card when she was 22 days old. However, she had to concede the title to Aahna Modi of Rajkot, who got her card when she was just 10 days old.
The record was largely unbroken until last year when Aryan was issued his card.
The child's father plans to recommend his daughter’s name for the Guinness Book of World Records. Meanwhile, she enjoys celebrity status among the locals.
Getting babies PAN cards seems to be a trend among parents and we won't be surprised when a new born of only a few hours might just be clutching on to his or her bit of plastic from the Income Tax Department.

Helmets for Pillion Riders Compulsory in Bengaluru With Effect From 20 Jan 2016
Do you live in Bengaluru? If so, then you will have to buy a helmet for yourself, if you want to ride a bike or even if you want someone to get you a lift on a two-wheeler.
The Bengaluru Traffic Police had implemented a rule starting last week of October 2015, which stated "Helmets Made Compulsory for Pillion Riders". It was supposed to be implemented six months back but because of BBMP polls it got delayed.
Bengalurians have had demanded for more time as the ISI mark helmets cost over thousands rupees each and these helmets do not fit children pillion riders.
Bengaluru Traffic Police has already given 3 months of time for the riders to make proper arrangement of helmets for pillion riders.
With effect from 20th Jan 2016, the pillion riders found without helmets will be penalised.

Bengaluru Traffic Police has already given 3 months of time for the riders to make proper arrangement of helmets for pillion riders.
With effect from 20th Jan 2016, the pillion riders found without helmets will be penalised.
The rule says that helmets are compulsory for the rider as well as pillion riders too. Otherwise you will have to pay a penalty of Rs. 100 for the violation of rule and even your driving licence would be cancelled if you pay the penalty, the third time.
Its been strictly directed to the Transport Authorities to crack the whip on helmetless pillion riders. Naturally after implementation of this rule, citizens of Bengaluru have opposed the move as they will have to spend another Rs. 1000-1500 minimum to get a helmet for pillion rider.
Even the citizens have complained about the negligency of the government over maintainance of road and covering up of potholes in the city.
Be informed that the city has witnessed a lot of deaths as a result of accidents happened on road humps and potholes.
Let us inform you here that Karnataka ranks among the top five states in the country in death of pillion riders and motorcyclists on road accidents.

Truptraj Pandya, 8 years old child prodigy has have earned and been awarded with number of prizes and trophies for his wonderful art of playing tabla.
To mention here about his achievements, Pandya was just 18 months old when he started playing the tabla. At age 6, he was awarded with a certificate from Guinness Book of World Records for being the youngest ever Tabla Master.
He is better known as a wonder child by the music world as he managed to play the tabla despite being born with dexterous pair of hands. This little music maestro in the making already has several records and awards under his name and his passion for the instrument is unbridled. It is mere joy while practising and performing that enthrals the listener and his talent is boundless. In expert's opinion this child prodigy is an ocean of musical talent and with such determination and will power it will be in no time that he would be capable enough to break more records and carve a niche for himself in the history of music.
One of the prestigious and rare awards the Baal Kala Ratna Award, acknowledges Truptraj for playing live at the All India Radio at the age of three years and five days, and at Doordarshan Sahyadri when he was four. During the radio performance, he "had to be hoisted on to two cushions to reach the tabla", said his mother Veena. His first public performance was at the age of two at Somaiya college.
Truptraj, who loves playing for classical and devotional songs, was only 18 months old when his tryst with the tabla began. "He would often listen to his grandmother sing devotional songs. Once he gave her company by hammering away on two aluminium dabbas," said his father Atul. Another time, he woke his parents in the night and insisted on playing the dholki-a gift from his aunt.
In 2009, Atul sent a video clip of his son playing the tabla to the Limca Book of Records, but they replied saying they do not accept entries of children below the age of 12. Atul then forwarded it to the Guinness Book of World Records, even as his staff members laughed at the prospect and they approved it. Later, Soon, after Truptraj delivered a series of tabla performances including one in a stadium in Thane in 2012, Atulrealised that he should encourage the prodigy by applied to the Guinness Book.
The child prodigy, who has performed in more than 50 public concerts, said, now trains under a professional.
Master Truptraj Pandya is the only son of Atul and Veena Pandya. It did not take long for his parents to realise that this baby is born with an innate sense of rhythm. As an infant, he once insisted on playing the Dholki, a drum like playing musical instrument that kids are given as toys.
Master Truptraj Pandya began to play with this Dholki that he received from his aunt one night and it was so in rhythm that it bought tears of sheer joy to his mother Veena’s eyes. She recollects this incidence with fond memories now. According to his father Atul, Master Truptraj Pandya was just 18 months old, when he first had his hands on the tabla and played as an instrument. He always had his fondness for listening to and enjoying classical and devotional songs and music. As he used to hear his grandmother sing devotional songs in the evenings, Master Truptraj Pandya as a little child, used to keep up the beat on aluminium dabbas, or boxes.
Here is a video performance by Truptraj.

Questions Still Unanswered Even After The Launch of Digital India Project
Digital India programme was launched by Prime Minister on July 1, 2015 at 16:00 (IST) in New Delhi.
Narendra Modi launched his mobile app to connect further with the cetizens. Over the last one year, several initiatives have been taken for introduction of Information Technology to empower people in areas relating to health, education, labour and employment, commerce etc. Digital India Week has been launched with an aim to impart knowledge to people and to empower themselves through the Digital India Programme of Government of India.
The programme comprises of various initiatives, each targeted to prepare India for becoming a knowledge economy and for bringing good governance to citizens through synchronized and co-ordinated engagement of the entire government.
On the other hand there is another face of India, where child labour is still practised and children below 14 years of age are bound to do labour work.
What will Digital India project bring for these children? How will Digital India eradicate the child labour? Will Digital India have an effect on the daily life of these children?
These are some questions still unanswered even after the launch of Digital India project.
The vision of Digital India programme also aims at inclusive growth in areas of electronic services, products, manufacturing and job opportunities etc.
The vision of Digital India is centred on three key areas -
(i) Digital Infrastructure as a utility to every citizen
(ii) Governance & services on demand
(iii) Digital Empowerment of citizens
Pillars of Digital India programme:
Several projects/products have already launched or ready to be launched as indicated below:
1. Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) Mobile app would be used by people and Government organizations for achieving the goals of Swachh Bharat Mission.
2. MyGov.in has been implemented as a platform for citizen engagement in governance, through a “Discuss”, “Do” and “Disseminate” approach. The mobile App for MyGov would bring these features to users on a mobile phone.
3. Digital Locker System aims to minimize the usage of physical documents and enable sharing of e-documents across agencies. The sharing of the e-documents will be done through registered repositories thereby ensuring the authenticity of the documents online.
4. eSign framework would allow citizens to digitally sign a document online using Aadhaar authentication.
5. The Online Registration System (ORS) under the eHospital application has been introduced. This application provides important services such as online registration, payment of fees and appointment, online diagnostic reports, enquiring availability of blood online etc.
6. National Scholarships Portal is a one stop solution for end to end scholarship process right from submission of student application, verification, sanction and disbursal to end beneficiary for all the scholarships provided by the Government of India.
7. The Government of India has undertaken an initiative namely Bharat Net, a high speed digital highway to connect all 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats of country. This would be the world’s largest rural broadband connectivity project using optical fibre.
8. BSNL has undertaken large scale deployment of Wi-Fi hotspots throughout the country. The user can latch on the BSNL Wi-Fi network through their mobile devices.
9. To deliver citizen services electronically and improve the way citizens and authorities transact with each other, it is imperative to have ubiquitous connectivity. The government also realises this need as reflected by including ‘broadband highways’ as one of the pillars of Digital India. While connectivity is one criterion, enabling and providing technologies to facilitate delivery of services to citizens forms the other.
